CLAD NTN Maps
In response to a request by NADP's Critical Loads of Atmospheric Deposition committee, a special subset of NTN concentration and depositino maps were developed to address the particular needs of the critical Loads community.
While these maps use the same base data as NTN's regular gradient maps, they differ in several respects. In particular:
- These maps are isopleth maps, rather than gradient maps.
- The units of the NH4, NO3, and SO4 maps are elemental weights, rather than molecular. For example, the NH4 deposition is in units of kg/ha as N, while NADP's regular NH4 map is in units of kg/ha as NH4.
- A different color scale was utilized that highlights the lower range of the scale.
